Clear finishes
Our general finish is a 2 coat high build finish. The finish we provide virtually grain fills veneers such as oak & ash. Other veneers such as Wenge, we apply more on the first coat to fill the open grain of the timber, before we apply a final spray finish.

Stained & Tinted
We are able to stain, paint in any available RAL colour and clear finish.

Painted
Paint grade doors can conjure different expectations-

A ply faced doors with exposed lippings, primed ready for site finishing. Here the open grain of the plywood is left to the poor painted on site to try & get a decent finish - we do not offer this type of door.

We offer two basic types of paint finish.

The first is a paint grade door for finishing on site. We make the job of the painter much easier by conceal lipping the door & over veneering with a primed paper overlay. For the painter, he has a flat even surface to paint, requiring no filling or minimal preparation before applying his finish coats. For the contractor, there are no exposed lippings to shrink back during the defects liability period.

The second type of painted door is a fully spray finished door, to specific RAL colour or finish. Generally doors are pre-machined for ironmongery prior to spray painting, this prevents any potential chipping out of surface if hardware is fitted on site after finishing.
