FD 30 Doors:- The doors are made to a thickness of 44mm to achieve the required fire resistance performance under BS 476 part 22.
Door sizes can be made to suit a wide variety of structural opening sizes. Intumescent seals can be fitted to either the door or the frame. If required intumescent seals can be hidden under the vertical edge lipping concealing the intumescent strip.
As a normal course we veneer over the door lippings rather than veneer then fit an exposed lipping to a door or panel. If an exposed lipping is preferred, then this can be fitted as required.
FD 60 Doors:- Made to a thickness of 54mm, though in certain circumstances 44mm thickness can be provided, but this limited to single doors and limited height & widths.
As with our FD 30 doors we are able to manufacture doors to suit a variety of different opening sizes to suit the needs of the project, not the manufacturer.
FD 90 & FD 120:- These are specially made doors and frames. Doors are made again to suit the required size on site. We make FD 90 & FD 120 doors at 54mm thick. This allows for a thicker face board for taking face fixed ironmongery, such as handles push plates etc.
