A Shropshire company has reorganised its production operation creating five new jobs in the south of the county at Tenbury Wells.
Ludlow based Hazlin who manufacture bespoke, architectural veneered doors, panels and door sets for use in quality domestic residences, schools, hospitals, financial institutions and large construction projects throughout the UK, has secured 10,000 sq. ft. of factory space at the Lower Teme Business Park.
Investing in Homag brand machinery the company now has a HPP 350 beam saw at the Tenbury location as well as a Venture 12 router, and two new buffering sanders at their main factory in Bromfield, near Ludlow. Chris Jones, MD at Hazlin, said: “This reorganisation allows us to cut, lip and store in Tenbury whilst in Bromfield there is more space to carry out joinery work and increased door production. Not only is the production process much smoother but the installation of new machinery means we can achieve higher volumes to meet the increase in demand for our products. Our company has developed an envious reputation for quality of its products, and the investment in top quality machinery will allow us to enhance this reputation.”
Jim Cox, regional sales manager for Homag, said: “Homag particularly enjoy working with pro-active and progressive companies like Hazlin. When a company is expanding and has structured plans with regard to future growth and success it makes the working technical partnership all the more fruitful. In Hazlin’s case they recognise the superior engineering, technology and systems of Homag Group machines and we are able to specify these to give the customer the greatest potential, performance, flexibility and reliability. “
